Transformation Mechanics
Denji transforms by pulling his chest cord, starting Pochita's chainsaw heart. The transformation replaces his head and forearms with chainsaws. He can selectively transform: arms only for precision, legs for mobility, full body for maximum power. This granular control distinguishes him from fiends.
Combat Style
The chainsaws cut through virtually any material. The continuous rotation makes blocking difficult. Denji's style relies on overwhelming aggression and creativity: using chainsaws to climb, deflect, and perform chain-based mobility. His greatest weapon is unconventional thinking, not raw power.
Limitations
Transformation requires blood as fuel. Without blood, Denji reverts to human form. The chainsaws lack ranged options, requiring close combat. These limitations create strategic vulnerabilities that enemies like Makima exploit by arranging blood-deprivation scenarios.
